Wife's Dell will not run Tracker

... P4, 3.0 GHz, HT enabled, XPSP3 computer

I have checked, even upgraded the ms.net Framework to 4

What am I missing? Been running tracker since Nov. on this machine of mine through 4 versions now.

BTW even disabled HT on her Dell to check, not running that way either.

Is it possibly Dell specific, they do a few proprietary things there.

It briefly puts a tray icon in place but it disappears right away. I do get this wonderful little XP bell tone to tell me it refused to run it!

Could you post a screenshot of the error that you get? Also, please post LOG.txt from the Tracker's main folder, With the information provided above I can't really do anything.

There is NO error message, only the "failure beep", the tray icon goes away soon or if you mouseover, it goes away right then.

This is weird I know. May not be an explanation.
