I have EVGA Precision running to implement a more aggressive fan profile. Without this fan profile, the GPU temperature gets much higher than I feel comfortable with.
Similar to the Gaming Pause feature, I'd like to see an additional required programs feature that contains programs (processes) that must be running for folding to occur.
The proposed V7 features regarding throttling based on actual GPU temperature would probably make this unnecessary, but it might still be worth it for a short term solution.
