Proxy, config only and gui suggestion

Hi

It would be nice if it would be possible to add proxy settings to the clients and maybe a mode where you only use the tracker for client setup and config if youre not really interested in running the tracker after initial setup.

For the gui it would be nice if it could show expected completion time and current runtime. Also you could move the start/stop buttons from the bottom and the multi-GPU dialog and put them infront of each row replacing the client label.

The completion time and time remaining until the deadline are already shown in the client status viewer. (accessed by clicking the client label) If this isn't what you meant please clarify.

Using the Tracker for the initial config is possible with the current version, you just have to manually create shortcuts for the clients instead of using the Tracker. I won't be adding GUI support for this, but anyone familiar with setting up FAH manually should have no problem doing it this way.

I may add proxy config support to a future version, but right now that would be difficult with how the Tracker controls the clients.

Yes, thats it but it would be nice to have the stats for current wu in the overview.

Sure anyone should be able to create a shortcut. Editing the config file is another thing though.

Oh, I thought i was just a matter of another line in the config.

The problem is with how the Tracker modifies the client.cfg files. Currently, the only tine it goes through the advanced config is during the initial setup. After that, it only reconfigures name/team/passkey. The problem would be adding the required code to fully reconfigure clients.

It's possible, so I might include it in a future version, but as of now I don't know which version that's going to be.

I'm not sure i understand the problem but during initial setup would be fine and something like a checkbox to disable the -runonce would probably do the trick for just initial config aswell. Anyway I'm sure the proxie thingy would be appreciated. I take it you cant really add it manually while using the tracker since it recreates the config for each run?

If you need to use a proxy you can manually reconfigure the client to use one, since the Tracker won't overwrite changes to client.cfg. After initial setup is complete, it only changes the name/team/passkey.
