GPU Tracker Question/Discrepancy

Hi All,

The GPU Tracker V2 is ATM reporting a total points score which is higher by 150 points than that reported on

If I manually calculate and add together the WU points shown in the Stats page of the Tracker, I also come out at this figure which is 150 pts lower than the total points score being reported.

Am I correct in assuming that these would be SMP bonus points that are only taken into account after 10 SMP WUs have been completed?

If I am correct with the above assumption then I have the following question. On completion of the 10th SMP WU, will the bonus points from them be added? Or do you only get the bonus points for those WUs after the tenth one?

The Tracker will never get the exact same points total with SMP WUs. As you figured, one of the reasons for this is the 10 WU minimum before bonus points start getting awarded. The Tracker has no way of knowing if this requirement has been met, so it always assumes bonus points will be awarded if the WU is completed within the deadline.

The other reason for the inaccuracy is that the times the Tracker uses for WU start and finish are not exactly the same as the ones used by Stanford's servers. This introduces a small error into the bonus point calculations.

An error of 150 points our of your total of 39,328 (0.4% error) is well within the expected range.
